With the coming of spring, Cloe and Nomi Nekojin were troubled by the departure of the birds that had been wintering near their home. With some serious questions about migration they went to the home of their neighbor, Panda Papa, in the hopes that he could give them some answers, only to be distracted by a freshly baked batch of "Brownies ala Vinnie." Eventually Panda was able to get them back on track...

The Totally Awesome Waves Off Kanagawa

Everyone should instantly recognize the famed Japanese print, “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” (c. 1829 – 1833) – the most recognized Japanese print in the world, from Hokusai’s series “Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji.” What you may not know is that after completing that exhaustive series of works, yet still wanting to create art but at the same time generally fed-up with Mt. Fuji, Hokusai “recycled” the work, encompassing it in a new, more contemporary series titled, “Too Many Views of Mt. Fuji” (Fujisan no keshiki ga amarini mo, 富士山の景色があまりにも).

Little Cloe and Nomi Nekojin having been watching many of the ducks and Canada geese fly north and abandon the Kid Rangers' wildlife sanctuary. One rainy afternoon last week, unable to understand what is going on, they braved the weather and headed over to Panda Papa's house in the hope of finding some answers...
